Obama Can’t Keep White House Open, But Spends $7.6 Billion on Obama Phones

Posted on Updated on

Notice how everything Obama touches grows financially out of control in no time?  Here’s the ObamaPhone disaster:

AP Bashes Obama 'Can He Get Any Other Democrats Elected'

In 2008, the program was expanded to support cell phones which quickly escalated the cost of the program. In 2008 the program cost $772 million, but by 2011 it cost $1.6 billion.

If we do some simple math, average things out to fill in the gaps, it appears the cellphone program grows about $212 Million per year, pending any “reforms” slated for 2013 (that likely won’t happen):

Year – Cost(Millions)

2008 – $772 Million (Pre-Obama)

2009 – $984 Million

2010 – $1.2 Billion

2011 – $1.6 Billion

2012 – $1.8 Billion

2013 – $2.0 Billion (estimated-it will be higher)

Add it all up, and you come up with a staggering $7.6 Billion dollars, and approximately 40% is pure fraud, and that’s just what they admit to.  While the Lifeline program existed prior to Obama taking office, the abuse and vote-buying component is clearly all Obama’s.

By the way, Americans pay an average of $2.50 a month per household to fund a number of subsidized communications programs, including Lifeline.
